Stoneridge Electronics' expertise in designing information systems is well proven. We have developed a number of instrument clusters, information displays, and other information devices for the leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, and tractors since 1988.
Together with Volvo, we developed a line of instrument clusters for trucks, buses, wheel loaders, and articulated haulers. This development was the result of our close collaboration with Volvo and the outcome was instrument clusters for the European and North American markets. The instrument clusters for North America are manufactured locally for local support and close co-operation. The low volume products use the same platform and design solutions as the high volume line, in order to reduce development costs and create cost-effective solutions for Volvo. Here we prove that our customers benefit from the established synergies. This project also shows our ability to develop products for different environments.
With Daimler Chrysler, MAN and Scania we have the same experience as with Volvo, close co-operation that has resulted in a long relationship resulting in the development of a number of instrument clusters. Synergies have also been used in this case in order to create cost-effective solutions with both Daimler Chrysler and Scania.
