PDCs

Our company's first development project concerned a power distribution centre for Volvo. This was before Stoneridge was founded, and was therefore implemented under Ericsson Radio back in 1972. The concept was based on FR4 PCBs, a negative layout concept to maximise the copper on the board with traditional through-hole components and a protective coating. Using this concept in an automotive environment was a challenge. Over the years we have gained experience and knowledge that we can apply and use to improve the concept for many different applications and customers. This has proven successful for many of our OEM customers.
